Travel Information

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is the closest airport. Ryanair and Easyjet are based at the Airport. KLM operates numerous daily services connecting Liverpool with Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The airport is situated eight miles from the city centre and the journey is very simple using the express bus service – Airlink 500. This is located outside the entrance/exit to the airport terminal. Taxi fares from the Airport to the city are approximately £15 but check with the driver before departure.

Manchester Airport is the major airport in northern England. All major airlines operate services from Manchester. A direct train service runs regularly from the airport terminal to Liverpool Lime Street Station.

Liverpool Lime Street is the major station in the city centre. From here it is possible to reach any major UK city. Direct services operate to and from Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Birmingham and London. Virgin Trains operates a regular service direct to London Euston Station. The University is just a 15 minute walk away from Liverpool Lime Street

Road links are good with the M62 connecting the city with the motorway network. Parking can be difficult and relatively expensive.

The National Express coach station is in Norton Street, a fifteen minute walk from the Campus.
